You are receiving this email because of your affiliation with any of the O'ahu chapters of Hawai'i Farmers Union United (HFUU).
Kahumana Organic Farm & HFUU Wai'anae Chapter support this effort of coming together to connect and share information regarding a very important issue facing those of us working in or in connection with Agriculture right now. With the upcoming FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) compliance deadlines coming into effect this year, it's important that we are prepared and educated correctly, so we're not relying on the regulators to ensure the safety of our products.
Fred Rappun, MS and University of Hawai'i Junior Extension Agent brings an outstanding source of strength and mana'o and will be joining us to answer any and all questions we might have about FSMA and the upcoming changes.
