Aloha kākou Ka’ū peeps!

We hope you are getting some ‘ai (rain) and can send some to us!

We are settled into our new farm and look forward to sharing our next chapter of life with you all. Please join us on July 12th at 1:00 pm at the wood valley ranch, also known as the wood valley mamaki farm (96-2232 south rd) . We will be having a pot luck and take some time to walk the farm. We would like to establish a committee to help get the Ka’ū chapter CSA up and running. Please bring your neighbors, keiki and dogs! Mahalo to all the farmers and farm supporters we look forward to seeing you!

Minutes from June 6th Ka’ū chapter meeting
  • 4:00pm: meeting called to order . Asked all members who needed help on their farms.
  • 4:15pm: Discussed mamaki growing.
  • 4:20pm: CSA / food hub in Ka’ū . Use of my new farm as store front for CSA pick up. How to approach online store platform and what to expect explained by Marilyn Rose. Ka’ū coffee mill to merge products. Member discount on CSA box.
  • 6:00pm: Meeting adjourned
