Ka’Eha Lenchanko will present Mo’o Aina Tours during the announcements. This is a local tour program led by Hawaiian cultural practitioners from Wai’anae. Wai’anae is the lands of the kahuna and known by the people from old Wai’anae as the Valley of the Giants or Na Awawa o Pilikua: Moku ‘O Wai’anae wahipana huaka’i. During this tour Ka’Eha will share some Hawaiian stories in both English and Hawaiian language to share different names of the natural landscape and different versions that explain the stories related to the many Giants that form the Wai’anae Mountain Range. The next tour is scheduled from 7-12pm Sunday September 9th. Suggested donation is $15. For more information, please contact Ka’Eha Lenchanko (808) 457-0476.
